The time has come and for its second year in a row, Atlantica Online has once again been chosen as one of the titles for the 2009 Game & Game World Championship (GNGWC). All North & South American players as well as European players qualify for a chance to battle it out PVP style in their respective countries. 16 of the top PVPers from each region will be invited to the GNGWC Regional Finals where they will battle each other in a PVP tournament.

The preliminary rounds will be based on Free Leagues. The player's record in the Free Leagues will determine their ranking, which will be calculated using various factors. At the end of each region's preliminary round, the top 16 players of each region will be tabulated.
