NDOORS INTERACTIVE, INC., the U.S. subsidiary of one of the fastest growing Korean online game entertainment companies, NDOORS Corp., is currently seeking a highly energetic and reliable individual for the following position for its office in El Segundo, CA.
The GENERAL MANAGER at NDOORS INTERACTIVE, INC., is Responsible for directing all aspects of corporate management, exercising wide latitude of discretionary decision-making authority and control over the company’s day-to-day business operations with only general supervision of upper management for the goals of concretization and expansion of company’s presence in the U.S. market.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Supervise and manage subordinates in all departments including Business Administration & Legal affair, Accounting & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing & PR, Business Development, Game & Community Management, and etc.
- Direct and oversee overall short and long term Corporate Financial operations to ensure the optimization of cash flow to avoid any interruption in the company’s business operations due to budget scarcity
- Establish the company’s business objectives and policies in accordance with the corporate policies and proprietary business procedures
- Conduct performance reviews and make personnel decisions such as promotions, discipline and termination of staff in accordance with corporate policy
- Recruit, select, onboard, train and manage Managerial & Support staffs
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including Privacy policy, ESRB Rating, ESRB Privacy Rating, and etc.
- Deal with complex Publishing License contracts to maximize the profitability and minimize associated risks by evaluating and negotiating the terms and conditions, pricing and etc mutually beneficial for both the publisher and the developers
Qualifications:
- Must have passion for games, including online and massively multi-player online games (MMOGs)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the online game and internet industry, particularly in general management, is highly recommended, but not required
- B.A. or B.S. Business Management or related studies, MBA degree preferred, but not required
- Professional and polished demeanor with excellent verbal and written and presentation design skills, Bilingual in English/Korean is a plus, but not required
- Working knowledge of the MS Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Candidate should possess exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced but supportive environment
