Hello, this is Kaidis. I was a Tester since 2nd Close Beta Test.
This is base on my experience from Atlantica Korean Version, I just wanted to share
the information with you guys. This will cover about Boss Fight.

*Please understand that, the name of area or monster or scroll will be different for Atlantica American Version.
However, as long as you follow the quest, the order is same as follow.

1) The Boss Fight takes place at seperated room/area
2) It is 1vs1 fight. However, you might have to fight 1vs2 battle in higher level.
3) Your party member can not join the regular Boss Fight. Party member can join only Boss fight at "Shadow Area"
4) Get use to using useful Magic Scrolls.
5) The battle is over as soon as either the Boss or your main character dies. Therefore,
try to set your main character at 3rd line.

*Each Boss fight, some window pop up on right side of screen. It shows possibility of beating the Boss as ###%.

*"Shadow Area": Each Dungeon has "Shadow Area". In this area, all the monsters are invisible. You also need certain
amount of Fame to enter in. You can raise Fame by PVP tournament or league.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Follwing Boss fight is base on my formation.
I picked Axe for main character.

My Basic Formation until Open Beta Test ended. Before advance mercenary introduced.

Sword Biking Sword
Gunner Gunner Gunner
Shaman Me(Axe) Monk
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1st Boss "Dark Fairy" in Forest of Fairies for lv 1~12 ; I killed it at lv10

1) Very Easy Fight
2) There are monsters that keep revive others. Kill them first.
3) Focuse on 1 raw and freezed Boss's line, and kill the rest of monsters.
4) If you going for all Archer, just focus on Boss.
5) If you use scroll called Dark Magic Scroll twice, the monster get wiped out.

2nd Boss "Western Witch" in China Dungeon for lv13~21; I killed it at lv18

1) Very Easy Fight
2) Boss uses skill Heal.
3) Easy fight if you kill the Archers first.

3rd Boss "Dragon" in under sea castle for lv22~28; I killed it at lv24

1) Easy~Tough Fight
2) Boss uses strong wide range skill.
3) I started as using Silence Scroll. Main attacks with Swordman because these
monsters are weak against Fire element.

4th Boss "Naga Queen" in India Dungeon for lv29~36; I killed it at lv34

1) Easy~Tough Fight
2) Another Monster in Boss's Room. It can interupt during battle, or begins as Boss's
Party member. The fight gets difficult with 1vs2. Make sure attack the Boss when the
Monster is far away.
3) Another option is start the battle and use a scroll called Summon monster Scroll. As
long as it activate before the monster join Boss, it will join your party. The fight will be
easy after then.

5th Boss "Spider King" in Nest of Insects for lv37~43; I killed it at lv38

1) Easy~Tough Fight
2) Another Monster in Boss's Room. It can interupt during battle, or begins as Boss's
Party member. The fight gets difficult with 1vs2. Make sure attack the Boss when the
Monster is far away.
3) Another option is start the battle and use a scroll called Summon monster Scroll. As
long as it activate before the monster join Boss, it will join your party. The fight will be
easy after then.

6th Boss "Naraka" in Mohenjodaro's Grave for lv44~51; I killed it at lv43

1) Easy~Tough Fight
2) I let 3 Gunners to clear the middle raw, and then freezed 1st and 3rd line with Biking
and my Freeze skill.
3) I let Female Shaman cast Berserk on 2nd line for 3 Gunners.
4) Biking and I kept using Freeze on 1st and 3rd line.
5) Every monsters got wiped out by 3 Gunners at 5th turn.

7th Bosses "Elizabeth" and "Dracula" in Dracula's Castle for lv52~58; I killed them at lv52

"Elizabeth"; I killed her at 2nd try

1) Easy~Tough Fight
2) Remember: Do not use skill on "Elizabeth" because she get heal from it. Biking's
Freeze is OK as long as you use it for stun.
3) I used same strategy as 6th Boss "Naraka"
4) I also used Silence Scroll just in case.

"Dracula"; I killed him at 3rd try

1) Incredibly Tough: You just want to be lucky to defeat this guy.
2) There are monsters that keep revive each other. Make sure to kill them first.
3) I used same strategy as 6th Boss "Naraka". Left raw 1st line Biking and 2nd line Gunner
got killed instantly. Rest of 1st line two Sword man barely alived with Female Shaman's
Heal.
4) Your choice of using Female Shaman's Beserk or not, but fucus on middle raw.
5) Only 1 Sword Man, 1 Gunner, 1 Female Shaman, 1 Monk, and I were alived after defeat the Boss "Dracula".

8th Boss "Minotaurus King" in Creta Maze for lv 59~64; I killed it at lv59 after 3rd try

1) Incredibly Tough: It uses Incredibly Strong Attack. Immune to Biking's Freeze skill.
2) You just need to be lucky. Praise to god for Boss won't use skill in 2nd or 3rd turn.
3) In my case, I used Beserk on 3 Gunners. They wiped out the monsters but they also got wiped out by the Boss.
4) Start from 1st line Biking, rest of 1st line member got wiped out, too.
5) I barely defeat this guy and only 1 Female Shaman, 1 Monk and I survived.
* I did not used any scroll on this fight, it would've been easier if I did.

I didn't left any record for rest of Boss. Sorry.

Thanks for all the info gave me some useful insight to the game. sadly though like you said the areas will be renamed so personally I cant see my self referring to this guide in mid boss battle right now since the game is currently not out yet it would be great if you where to post your opinions on the classes in the game. and what you feel are good and useless classes since you have played the Korean version. I know Triton has already done that but thats his opinion it always helps to have more then 1 opinion to base a good class off.

If you don't mind me asking can swordsman go 2 handed swords or just sword/shield combo?

As long as you follow the Quest, the order is same as what I wrote. So, don't worry about it. D rank Sword man can hold only one sword.

currently in kor atlantica they've changed the invisible mobs in "shadow areas" to visible ones, making the dungeons a hell of alot easier, b4 they did it ya definetly needed full party to finish higher than bran castle (lvl54? witch quest) (which was do-able with 2), the exorcist merk you get from dungeon in Devil's Forest (a bit higher than witch quest, can't remember what lvl) was so hard for 2 players well above the lvl needed, definetly needed full party for this

reason for this is cuz with invisible mobs, the mobs would always atk you first and almost always they would appear in 3 groups at start, so the mobs would atk first with 1-2 chars per group, then you could do same, then mobs would atk you with 5 mobs in each of their group, so 15 mobs attacking you, plus some of them revive either by skill or they come back to life after a few turns if you don't loot them... anyways, it was really hard

however now that they have removed that, then i pretty much just soloed the dungeon i was doing some months ago (b4 they removed the invis mobs), was so easy battle

also another bad thing that invis mob dungeons had was that most dungeons have a few floors, so if you had quest on 3F in dungeon like that you'd have to fight random battles along the way, but now you can just avoid the mobs (not walking into them)

You are right. I remember now, I used Teleport to party member in Shadow Area from 1st floor to 3rd floor at Map for Nareka. umm, Grave.

sounds like it gets ALOT harder the higher level you are - do you know if the bosses are spawned like wow (ie you have to wait for them) or are they instanced so anyone can fight them at any time?
is every time you fight the boss different, or are they pattern attackers?

As I stated earlier, you enter a serperate room for Boss fight. Therefore, everyone going to different area for Boss fight.
Boss is waiting for you in the room. As soon as you approch to the Boss, the fight begins. There are time limit to defeat the boss.
You can flee middle of battle; You can exit from Boss's Area and reenter.

As you defeat same monster over and over again, you can get more data&information about the monster from Data Book(I don't know how American
Version will call). If you complete as 100%, you get better items drop. Therefore, try to complete data book.

actually there isn't a time limit when your in the battle, if it runs out then nothing will happen untill the fight is over, when it is over and the time has run out you will be automaticly ported somewhere outside the boss room

Hello,

I have a question about the 3 rows. I suppose that a melee (axe, sword) do more damage if they are 1st row as in 3rd row?
What about a spearman, 2nd row has a penalty already or only 3rd row?

And you can choose freely which row you want to attack or the melee can attack only 1st row of the ennemies?

Thanks!

1) Location of position doesn't affect the damage.

2) The 1st line has to clear first or you have to use range weapon with mercenaries like Archer. Lancer can attack first and second line of one row at once, Gunner can attack entire 3 lines of one row. Archer can attack any target even target on 3rd line without clearing first line.

3) Melee go to 1st line, just for defense. With Monk's protect skill, it become nearly invincible(but bad thing is Shaman can not heal them due to Protect)

4) The only reason why Main character need to go to 3rd line is less chance to die early.

The AXE can still hit the front line even if you put him in your third line right?

That's right. Normally you can hit only front line from any line.

But, if one of the enemy's 1st line got clear, melee can attack both 1st and 2nd line.

And, if one row of enemy's 1st and 2nd line got clear, your melee can attack 3rd line.

what about action points? does having a melee class merc attack from the back row require more action points than if it were in the front?

Nope, The position for formation doesn't affect the Action Point. Each Mercenaries and Heroes have different Action Point.

The C rank mercenary Exorcist has a skill that boost up Action Point for faster attack and skill.
