You're right, it's bad form to call someone a troll. But you are one, so it's okay. Yes, I've seen your posts before.

I responded to exactly what you said. Your complaint was that the odds were terrible. My point is that such is irrelevant. You could just as easily get a streak of 25 bad boxes if the odds of getting a mount were 25% instead of the more likely 1%. That doesn't mean the boxes are rigged, it means you're taking a tiny sample size and making a big deal out of it like it's actually meaningful.-

No, you responded to the person talking about RNG. Read your post.

Also, I made another response to you which posted at the same time as your post above, last on page 3, as a clarification on my stances in this matter.

Edit: due to your continued need for insults and ad hominem attacks which are completely unwarranted, I choose to discontinue this branch of conversation. Come back when you can debate in a more civil fashion.

You keep saying I'm using ad hominem, do you know what that means by any chance? Clearly not, because I've addressed the point several times now. You're being grossly immature about it, that's all.

All you've stated so far is that you feel the odds are unfair. I've now said at least twice that the odds are utterly irrelevant for two reasons:
1) RNGs can easily cluster, throwing off the true average. It's worthless to pretend 25 box samples are relevant, so don't even try to.
2) People are actually buying the boxes in the first place. If people are willing to buy the boxes as they are, what reason does the company have to change them?

But that's okay, I guess when you can't back yourself up, you resort to saying the other person is picking on you. Learn to take criticism against your point, or don't bother arguing in the first place.

Ad hominem "is an argument which links the validity of a premise to an irrelevant characteristic" such as your continued usage of derogatory adjectives such as 'dumb' and 'troll'. Your ignorance of the meaning of the term is not my problem.

1) I never once claimed that 25 boxes were a good enough sample. Once again, you're confusing me with the person that opened up 25 boxes. Go ahead and quote me where I said that 25 boxes was a relevant sample size. I'll wait. I would, however, say that between myself and my nationmates there have been thousands of boxes opened (some BIG spenders in my nation) and I have a fairly decent sample set from which to derive my conclusions.

2) People would buy random crap in a can. But alot more people would buy that can if it said Campbells Soup on the label. Just because something sells is no reason to think the product could not be made better and make more money.

This has gone long enough. You guys and gals need to take a break, read the forum rules and learn not rip each others throats out every time you participate in a discussion. Thread frozen.
