i personally like protect more. not many people go for main unless they know they have uber gear and can like.. 1 turn them.
This. Even LH doesn't attack the main until monk is silenced/down.
LH one turned my main.. me at around 80%...she sethed her pirate and stuff.. and boom.. there goes my main = (
He SETHED his pirate. He wouldn't have sethed if he didn't know he was going to win easily. |

| Guys, I was reading the thread and I have some questions.
My main is an Archer and I want to use only one monk formation.
1- Is it ok to put him at later levels (with only 1 monk) at the first row (using as tank) ?
2- As you guys said, if I use my main on first row, the best would be SoP. So how should I spread my monk skills? Max SOP, 11 awaken, 20 Protect and 20 HG?

u can only have 1 passive so it's either max sop or, max protect.
for a tanking bow main, sop is a must

| give something like lv11 for HG 1st, then max sop and awakening, then put the rest in hg |

| I don't see why anyone would want to put their bow main on the frontline... even with maxed SoP...
PvE:
Magic Spike damage from enemies on your main = gg.com
Too many normal attacks and SoP won't cover the health used + Monk would be low/run out of mana
PvP:
That's just a no-brainer.
Nothing is impossible, just that some ideas are not as feasible... |

Bow has a hax dodge rate, adding SoP is just to make up for dmg.
Usually if you play your main right, it should have high HP as well as one of the best mdef in the group
i play dmf, and beliieve it or not, but my protect monk is the one always draining fast :P

Bow main front is fine is PvE if you have good equips. Tanking in PvP is even easier, as long as you don't face overgeared / overlvled opponents, and know when to switch back. |
