Cursed Swordsman Posts: 53  | the other day i saw stuff x10 its normal price also water of life over 1mil and some other insane stuff like ammo and summons/machines at x5-10 normal price wish we could know who posted items so as to get ahold of them and say hey you thats to much almost everthing i post is cheapest or cheaper than lowest post also id like to say why is it that mithril being at 14k fixed sells at 100gold also jewel prices have risen massively dont know why lets hope the economy stabilizes anyone else seen any insane posts on item prices? | ||

So yeah, blame lot of stuff for inflation~ and IM's being greedy. | ||

Ever heard of punctuation? Also, you're complaining about the stuff that's the most easy to get ingame, via crafting on farming. At least go complain about something more serious. | ||

Total Newbie Posts: 15  | The moment you figure out the way the market works and what things are higher in demand making money on this game is not hard. Yes prices go up dramatically and down dramatically. (some of this is due to dumbasses) When a new Item mall item comes out the prices of several things will drop. For example: a new mount comes out but the same box that gives you the chance of getting the mount also has the chance to get you 50 dragon crysals. I have no use for dragon crystals except when crafting so I sell them well chances are there is someone else who doesn't need them either as more and more people don't need them, and put them on the market less then the previous seller then prices drop. After the item mall fad is over prices rise again because the supply is nowhere near what it was. Calculate using fixed prices exactly what it costs to craft a certain item then determine the average price it sells for keep in mind to things sell for more when demand is higher than supply (aka weekends when everyone is online) For example life potion II sells on weekends when there are few sellers for 800 but only costs 300 to craft. Another way to earn money is to just run a shadow duneon once a week or so, if you are overlevel for the dungeon it shouldn't take you more than 6hrs to completely finish assuming (you do not have teleport) | ||

Assassin Posts: 138 | my spartan got to lvl 100 a few days ago. I checked prices for armor, it was more expensive to get freezing armor then it was to get darkest night armor which is better. So prices are a little messed up right now and will even out, they may not be what they were but they will drop down some once the patch settles in. I mean 4B for hydra ( i saw someone sell at that, dont know the actual price because i dont care ) is way to much. | ||

 Night Ruler Posts: 252 | If JP license were taken away the prices of mats would skyrocket. Pre-JP, Big Slabs were 40k+ sometimes. Now they're 2-6k. Phoenix Feathers were ~6m each. Now they're down to 2-3m. Beastman Fangs were 150-250k each. Good luck getting that now. JP caused massive deflation for crafting mats; perhaps you should be crafting instead of trying boxes? | ||

Gambler Posts: 1091 | JP license doesn't need to go away, the values it uses just need to more closely mirror current real price of items. This would remove the exploitation of said difference which is the primary cash generator; while still allowing crafters to use it to create needed materials. I'm less worried about the money it pumps into the system than I am of potential for devs to forget it is optional. If they start making crafts require LOTS of *RARE* mats (that yet have low JP values), JP is pretty much the only way to feed that. You already see something down this path on punisher books. Fairly rare, but they have a really low JP value; letting you JP up mad stacks of them... once you get one. | ||

Moreover, one armor can be used on different mercs as there're only 3 types of armors but each type of weapons can only be used for 2-4 mercernaries, hence higher need for armors. :D Love crafting armor ^^ I can price it double lol. | ||

Then, this would apply to other pieces of armour as well, as well as during pre-analysis, where weapons were priced at about the same price as (or even higher than) armour. But it doesn't. Explanation is simple: more people are analyzing armours. They have lower WL than weapons, there's more crafters, and they have to reach higher levels. | ||
