| ^^ Alex ... comments were asked for, I would prefer they worked on new content than "events". I can do one run of invasion on Sunday, unless i'm up at midnight or 6am monday morning -- being in a different time frame (Australia). Non US timeframe customers are not necessarily catered or considered when times for the events are chosen, so I would prefer they work on a wider range of NEW content than new events that I can rarely participate in.
As I indicated ... I'm wasting my time mentioning new content, but that does not reduce the validity of my comments. |

| I found your posting quite good, drincalot. Several interesting ideas. Especially concerning crafting (accelerated crafting for people who craft things with a level beyond the required one, crafting "special" items with town-specific craft materials, crafting unique weapons, armors...). |

I don't think his reply was meant to be offensive. WHat he means is ... wake up as in no one at NDoors cares what we think and they're not gonna change their ways simply because we ask them too. It's their stereotype mind, unable to think for themselves, which is what happens when they hire imbeciles . All they know is IM / costumes / the end. They can't fix the bugs, because they couldn't care less ... it's IM stuff ftw and screw everything else.
Also let me explain why I call them imbeciles ... because if they make their customers happy ... give us enough content to keep up happy and fix the bugs then they will keep the game going for many years with lots of profit for them. But being imbeciles means they don't realize just how much money they can make simply by doing the stuff they should have been doing in the first place. AO is unique atm and has huge potential . Only a bunch of imbeciles can't see that and they keep doing stupid things and alienating people. This is why I call them imbeciles / idiots and they deserve it.

| this last weekend was the GM battles! What did everyone think?
I was online most of the weekend as I am most weekends. On Thebes, I only remember a hand ful of battles, I watched a couple, and of course watch a couple of GM defeats. Good battles I would say, but the event itself was not overly exciting. My opinion, I know, I am sure some people out there liked it, but I really think Events need to be things that get the Community involved. And a GM battle every 4-6 hours ( I do not know exact times) was boring, and in my Guild/Nation no one was talking about any of it, until a battle ended then there was the joking (Yeah, thanks for the crystals!) etc.
Sadly I do not have ideas for events, but things to get players of all levels involved. I am unsure how to acheive this, as I am not a developer. Monster Invasions do go over well, but only for players of high lvl and high might. Somehow needs to be things for lower lvl players as well. The only ones who participate are those of high lvl.

| If you are going to do monster invasions how about having some lower level monsters as well for us new guys!
I was in Shanghai which is an area for lower level players and the town was slammed with mobs that were red to me at level 35 which is 10-15 levels higher than the quests in the area.
Just saying, dont forget the little guys! |

| Yeah.. it's obvious that Monster Invasions are the most popular. I wonder if the AO team really cares though. We've all been begging for more mom invasions for 2 months now at least. They need to be a regular weekend thing just like Weekly Championship. And MORE mobs!!! lol We love free stuff! |
